Not your average "Joe Six Pack" budget. And since when do we see hockey moms wearing $2,500 Valentino blazers? While most designers would literally kill to dress the possible vice president with their latest fashions, Sarah Palin has decided that is not enough. The Republican National Committee has spent $150,000 on wardrobe and makeup for the vice president hopeful.
Strange? While both candidates are talking about how bad the economy is, and how they understand what the "Average Joe" is going through? I would defiantly say so. Don't get me wrong. Private donations paid for the pricey duds. And when I found out Senator Clinton’s custom made pantsuits from Forest were worth about $6,350 a piece retail, I thought that was a lot! But Palin has far surpassed this. I've owned several pantsuits from various designers that were very nice but none that came even close to either of these. Is this really necessary, or have they gone into excess?You decide. Let me know what you think.
