America in the 1800's was looked upon as a nation that would soon be leading economic affairs across the world. Yet over the years, and continuously over the past few decades, we've dipped lower and lower in the worlds eyes. Over the past 8 years, our once great nation has officially sunk to an all time low. And no, President W is not to blame for all of this. (I know some of you now are shocked, since I always bash Bush.) But, no, his actions are not his alone. He has a Republican majority in the House and Senate to help him along with that. If he had a Democratic or otherwise Congress, things would not be passed so easily and things most likely would have stalled out at some point. (oh, and that works vice-verse too.)He could be viewed basically as a puppet. But, back to the subject, he has taught the American public an important message. Since already most do not trust government, this example only allows for them to want Change. And I mean REAL change. Although neither candidate may offer exactly what we want, and although they may not be able to do all the things they say they will, it is still important to vote. Americans must pick which candidate they feel will lead our nation into the greatness it was meant to be. So be sure to go out on the 4th and vote. ( Unless you have already early-voted, then no need to go again! :)
Make your voice heard.
